Auckland worker in hospital with severe injuries after being trapped in machinery

A man was seriously injured after getting stuck in a machine at an Auckland workplace.

Emergency services rushed to the incident in Otara at about 8:30am on Saturday morning.

They freed the man and took him to Middlemore Hospital with critical injuries.

WorkSafe will investigate the incident.
