Auckland roadworker dies after being struck by truck

A roadworker who sustained injuries in a collision in Remuera on Wednesday night has passed away in hospital.

Police said the incident happened at a roadworks site on Victoria Avenue and involved a truck.

The man was rushed to the Auckland Hospital in critical condition after the incident, but unfortunately, he did not survive his injuries.

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
