Airport worker hospitalised after Christchurch incident

A worker has been seriously injured following an incident at a Christchurch airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Paramedics were called to the incident at about 2pm.

They treated a seriously injured worker at the scene before transporting them to Christchurch Hospital.

The worker reportedly became trapped and was rescued by fire crews.
