Airlift after tree-cutting incident in southern Queensland

 A man critically injured while cutting down a tree in southern Queensland was airlifted to hospital for treatment on Monday, 31 January.

According to reports, the man was using a chainsaw when the tree fell on him.

He suffered multiple injuries following the incident.  The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue was tasked to the scene just before 12:30pm.

The man was flown to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in critical condition.
