Woman flown to hospital after falling from horse on Queensland property

A woman was airlifted to hospital by the LifeFlight crew after falling from a horse in South West Queensland on Monday morning.

Tasked at 9:10am, the rescue chopper was directed to a rural property in the Maranoa region and successfully landed close to the incident site.

The team partnered with local paramedics to assist a patient in her 60s with a shoulder injury and a potential head injury.

The woman was flown to Roma Airport and taken to Roma Hospital for additional care.
