Terms of Reference for WA's farm deaths inquiry released

The Western Australian government has released the Terms of Reference for the inquiry into the state's agricultural industry.

The inquiry's eight terms of reference were announced by Western Australia's WorkSafe commissioner Darren Kavanagh on Thursday.

The inquiry into WA's agriculture sector was launched in June after the 12th fatality in the industry in as many months.

"I envisage that the Inquiry will be completed and the report written by the end of this year," Mr Kavanagh said.

A former Chief Industrial Relations Commissioner has been appointed to the position of Independent Inquirer to assist with the inquiry.

Additional information is available on the WorkSafe WA website.
