Woman airlifted after falling from horse north of Brisbane

The RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter transported a woman to the hospital following a horse-riding incident in south-east Queensland.

The woman reportedly fell from the horse on a private property north of Brisbane, resulting in suspected injuries to her pelvis and shoulder.

The rescue helicopter was tasked just before 6pm on Sunday.

The woman received medical care at the scene before being airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious yet stable condition.
